THEIA TECHNOLOGIES DEMONSTRATES ULTRA WIDE ANGLE LENSES USING LINEAR OPTICAL TECHNOLOGY

Wilsonville, OR – Theia Technologies along with manufacturing partner Nittoh Kogaku K.K, will demonstrate the first production lenses of their new SY125 series at upcoming security tradeshows in September.  This new series of CCTV lenses uses Theia’s patent pending Linear Optical Technology which enables the viewer to take full advantage of the high resolution of today’s megapixel cameras.  Linear Optical Technology allows “More image – More security”. 

Theia’s Linear Optical Technology allows the design of ultra wide angle lenses with fields of view of 125 degrees and greater while maintaining less than 3% distortion.  Distortion correction is achieved optically in the lens, no dewarping software is required, allowing the lenses to be used on any currently installed compatible camera.  The SY125 series of lenses are compatible with 1/3” security cameras.  These lenses are available with auto or manual iris, and with CS- or C-mount.  Theia’s SY125 series can support camera resolutions up to 3 mega pixels.

The lenses will be demonstrated in Theia Technologies’ booth #1147 at ISC East – September 11th - 12th in New York – and booth #4309 at ASIS – September 24th - 27th in Las Vegas.
