Overview
Theia Technologies’ Intelligent Lenses combine advanced op‏tics, calibration data, and SDK and GUI to simplify integration and enable precise, remote lens control. This portfolio includes intelligent motorized lenses designed to support a wide range of machine vision applications.
With features such as remote zoom, focus, and iris adjustment, Theia's intelligent lenses enable flexible camera placement in hard-to-reach, mobile, or dynamic environments such as AMRs, UGVs, cobots, traffic analytics, and agricultural monitoring. Integrated calibration data allows for rapid setup and stream‏lined system integration while reducing maintenance downtime.
The included SDK and Python-based modules translate engi‏neering units into motor steps and lens commands, eliminating complex calculations and reducing development time and cost. With support for visible and near-infrared (NIR) imaging, compact form factors, and robust communication pro‏tocols, Theia’s Intelligent Lenses deliver modular, plug-and-play solutions for demanding vision systems.

There are two main families of Theia lenses that utilize this technology:
- Theia's IQ Lens™ System (-IQ) features an IQ Lens™ with a running average calibration where the calibration curves are monitored from lens lot to lot to verify the continued accuracy of the curves. The system joins the IQ Lens™ with an intuitive SDK & GUI, as well as Theia's MCR IQ™ Motor Control Board which allows the user to convert engineering units into motor steps, and motor steps into lens commands.
- Theia's Calibrated Lenses (-CAL) are IQ lenses™ that are individually calibrated to provide lens-specific optical performance data to enhance image processing and improve image quality.

Filter Options
Theia’s intelligent motorized lenses are also available with optional integrated Near IR bandpass and longpass filters for use when the application requires sensitivity to different wavelengths. Currently available are models in 850 and 940nm. Filters are also possible on other motorized lens models and in other wavelengths.
